South of Settled: A Little South of Normal

South of Settled is a southern outlaw lifestyle boutique built on sass, grit, and a little chaos. We design graphic tees, apparel, mugs, totes, and home goods for the ones who laugh loud, talk straight, and live life a little off-center.

We're not here to be polite, polished, or perfect. We're here to be real.

We're inspired by truck stops and backroads, Friday night lights, southern kitchens, and late-night front-porch conversations. You'll see cherries, checkers, grit, and humor running through everything we make. Every piece we drop is meant to feel raw and personal, not cookie-cutter fast fashion.

When you shop with us, you're getting designs you won't find down the road or at the big box store. Because let's be honest… if "normal" was working, you wouldn't be here.

Raw. Real. A little South of Normal. That's us.

Meet the Family Behind the Brand

I'm Jennifer. Mississippi wife, mom, nurse, first responder support system, and the person behind South of Settled. Most days I'm balancing family, business, fire department life, and controlled chaos, all at once. That's not a complaint. That's just 5AM on a Tuesday.

I was raised in small-town Mississippi by a truck driver dad and a stay-at-home mom. Hard work wasn't optional growing up. You showed up tired, figured it out, and kept moving. I grew up around diesel engines, thrown wrenches, long hours, blue-collar people, church folk, loud kitchens, and stubborn resilience. That upbringing shaped everything about who I am and everything about this brand.

My husband has been a truck driver, raised by a truck drivin grandpa, for the better part of 18 years. He's the kind of man who builds things with his hands and keeps going when most people would stop. In 2025, he suffered a major heart attack and stroke while on the road. That morning, everything changed. Income. Stability. Plans. Priorities. Life. All of it.

South of Settled came to be after that. Part survival. Part therapy. Part refusal to let a hard season write the ending. I kept building because that's what I do and I had kids (and one very spoiled French bulldog) watching.

South of Settled exists for people like us. The blue-collar families. The first responders. The truckers. The exhausted moms. The people carrying heavy things while still finding a reason to laugh. The ones who feel a little rough around the edges and never quite fit the polished version of life.

South of Settled is gritty, emotional, sarcastic, resilient, southern, and real because that's exactly where we came from.
